May 4 Nude Green Leaves and Bust a 1932 painting by Pablo Picasso was sold at Christie's for $106.5 million.4 There were more than half a dozen bidders while the winning bid was taken via telephone.5 May 20 Five paintings including works by Picasso and Matisse worth 100 million are stolen from the Muse d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris.67 June 9 American Cable television Bravo airs a new series Work of Art: The Next Great Artist which premiered on June 9 2010.
